While Chun-Li's fighting style is based on Chinese martial arts, her image is renowned for her powerfully toned leg kicks. The hip joints, combining ball joints and a uniquely articulated axis known as the Yamaguchi method, allow for dynamic movement of her voluptuous thighs. From her high-leg kicks and 180-degree "Spinning Bird Kick" to the cross-legged seated pose she displays in her special stance, "Gyokuunryusui," which allows for a variety of attacks, her supple body lines can be faithfully recreated in-game. The figure also includes interchangeable parts for the hem of her outfit, with the fabric flowing in front and behind. In addition to expanding the range of motion of the legs, the design is conscious of the flow of the action, making the pose even more beautiful.
