THIEAUDIO is pleased to announce the launch of its next generation IEM (in-ear monitor) lineup, HYPE (Hybrid Performance). Since we started our journey into the world of hi-fi audio, we have achieved a lot and grown significantly with each new project. Every launch has taught us not only how to develop better acoustic solutions, but also how to develop and utilize new driver types. We have combined all the knowledge acquired into the new HYPE series. As its name suggests, the HYPE series integrates multiple transducer types that represent innovation, delivering new IEMs that excel in both technical elements and sound quality. The HYPE series promises to live up to its name.
IMPACT² ("Impact Squared") is THIEAUDIO's latest innovation that is changing the personal audio industry. IMPACT² is a new subwoofer solution consisting of two 10mm composite diaphragm drivers arranged in an isobaric design. The addition of another 10mm subwoofer significantly increases bass power and texture, and the in-house isobaric chamber design keeps frequency and pressure constant. This means you can enjoy higher quality bass without sacrificing sonic consistency.
HYPE4 is equipped with the latest generation of Sonion drivers custom implemented specifically for HYPE4. The Sonion E50 series "Hummingbird" is a dual ultra tweeter balanced armature driver with the best technical specifications and is the best compared to Sonion's tweeter drivers to date. With superior ultra-treble extension comparable to EST and planar drivers, as well as reduced driver vibration and harmonic distortion at high output, the E50 series is one of the most robust tweeter drivers we've ever tested. Additionally, we chose Sonion's updated 26A series driver for the midrange. The driver's dual stacking provides an excellent output-to-THD ratio, allowing you to experience greater sonic resolution, texture, and layering in the midrange and treble. Our implementation of the 26A series driver provides excellent tonal balance, especially in the basic midrange and bass treble, and matches the target curve almost perfectly.
Following the foundation of the previous model, the HYPE4 required sound quality that was nothing short of perfect. Using Monarch MKII, Clairvoyance, and Oracle blueprints, HYPE4 features our most successful sonic balance. From a strong sub-bass presence with a precise cutoff at 200Hz, to a ruler-flat midrange, a near-perfect pin-up curve at 3kHz, and a gentle decay down to 20kHz, the HYPE4 is the perfect studio setup in your ears. Advanced listeners will appreciate the clean separation between bass and mids, which provides even more precision in sub-bass impact while the mids remain neutral as studio engineers intended. The treble response reminds us of one of the most legendary IEMs that revolutionized the industry. The technical elements from the modest 6-driver configuration set new standards in this price range.
