The stories of Japanese mythology, told with gorgeous illustrations, are now available as tarot cards.
Each card depicts a god from mythology, such as Amaterasu and Ninigi.
The 78 cards, based on the Rider-Waite version, all depict a scene from Japanese mythology.
The full-color commentary booklet describes the gods depicted and their stories, so it is recommended even for those who are not yet familiar with the story.
If you are familiar with Japanese mythology, you might find it interesting to imagine "this illustration might represent that scene."
The essence of the stories from Japanese mythology will add color to your reading.
