Product Introduction
The Kiha 35 series was a standard diesel car for the Japanese National Railways (JNR) that first appeared in 1961.
The Kiha 35 featured a single-cab toilet, and the 500 series, manufactured for cold regions, had a rectangular roof ventilator.
Around 1986, Sagami Line vehicles were redesigned to a cream finish with blue stripes.
[Product]
High Grade (HG) specifications.
The 500 series features a different ventilator and underfloor water tank than the 0 series.
The 0 series is built without a front reinforcement plate, while the 500 series is built with a reinforcement plate (the reinforcement plate is an included part and can be installed by the user), recreating the different blue paint schemes with and without the reinforcement plate.
To recreate the 0 series with a reinforcement plate and the 500 series without the reinforcement plate, simply swap the roof and undercarriage.
By swapping the roofs, you can change the relationship between the presence and absence of the reinforcement plate.
The headlights are a new dual-lamp sealed beam with a stepped inner section.
The taillights are newly recreated from the front, recreating the external fitting style found on the actual train, either originally or through modifications.
The front snowplow is integrated into the bogie, and the jumper hose is recreated as a separate part.
The head and taillights and front display are equipped with a constant-on circuit board and include an ON-OFF switch.
The head and taillights and front display are illuminated by warm white LEDs.
The front display uses a color destination display, resulting in an almost white color.
The front display is replaceable and comes with a pre-printed part for "Chigasaki-Hashimoto."
The front display comes with replacement pre-printed parts for "Chigasaki-Ebina, Chigasaki-Samukawa, Hashimoto-Atsugi, Hashimoto-Hara-Touma, Special, and Local (white)."
The car number, affiliation, and JR mark are selectable and include a transfer sheet.
Features a flywheel-equipped motor, a new current collection system, and black wheels.
Features an M-13 motor.
Includes a TN coupler (SP) as standard.
