Wooden Core: Traditional wooden spatulas chip, burn, crack, or chip, potentially introducing wood chips into food, posing a major hygiene risk. This problem is resolved by using ultra-high molecular weight polymer UMSP. Even lighter.
Caution: Avoid using this spatula over an open flame, such as a gas rotating pan, as it will be exposed to continuous high temperatures of around 200°C. It can be boiled, disinfected with boiling water, used with general disinfectant bleach, and sterilized in a UV sterilizer.
This spatula is now capable of making curry roux and stirring demi-glace sauces at high temperatures for extended periods, something that wasn't possible with previous high-tech spatulas!
