It is used by sandwiching it between the license plate and the car body. The thickness of the part that overlaps with the license plate is about 2.5 mm.
The outer periphery of the license plate is approximately 4.9 mm thick. Since the outer periphery of the license plate is no longer exposed, it is less likely to cause injury if your hand touches it while washing your car. It also reduces flapping of the license plate. It's so inconspicuous that others may not even notice it's installed.
Front-only: The thickness of this product is approximately 2.5 mm, which may affect the illumination range of the rear license plate light. The outer circumference is approximately 3-4 mm larger, so if your vehicle has a hook supporting the bottom of the rear license plate, it will no longer fit on the hook.
If you are looking for a big change from the installation, we recommend another product.
