Product Introduction
This is a 1/35-scale plastic model assembly kit of the Type 97 medium tank, developed by the Japanese Army during World War II.
Slide molds are used for each component, optimizing both shape and ease of assembly.
The slide-molded lower hull is a single piece for reliable assembly.
The underside of the hull is also accurately rendered.
In addition to the delicate finish of the suspension, road wheels, and drive wheels, the tracks feature partially assembled NEO tracks.
The Type 97's unique suspension mechanism is meticulously modeled, with spring parts recreated using slide molds.
The unique shape of the upper hull is molded in one piece using a three-way slide mold.
The engine deck ventilator cover is also a separate part with a delicate finish.
Separate parts such as the rear plate and rear fender are also slide molded, accurately recreating not only the shape but also the rivets.
The asymmetrical turret is also modeled in detail using a four-way slide mold.
