Product Introduction
The Field Artillery's "Long Nose" Mobile Strike Equipment comes with a crew member ~ Now available as a Spot Product
This is a 1/72-scale unpainted kit that requires assembly and painting.
The Type 75 Self-Propelled 155mm Howitzer equipped to the Field Artillery was gradually developed, and over time, it became inferior to the FH-70, which was later equipped with the Type 75. Research and development of this vehicle, intended to be a successor to the Type 75 Self-Propelled 155mm Howitzer, began in 1987.
The vehicle's body is based on the Type 89 Armored Fighting Vehicle, with an extended hull and a large turret.
The main gun is a 52-caliber 155mm howitzer with a multi-hole muzzle brake. It has a range of 30km, an automatic loading system that allows loading at any elevation, and a firing rate of over 18 rounds per three minutes.
Another feature is the ability to connect to a Type 99 Ammunition Supply Vehicle for external ammunition supply, enabling rapid automatic replenishment. Following the Type 75 Self-Propelled Anti-Aircraft Gun (SPAG), procurement began in 1999 as a domestically produced artillery piece. More than 130 units have been procured and deployed, primarily to northern troops.
This 1/72 scale series makes it easy to build and perfect for collecting.
Despite its miniature scale, the shape design rivals that of 1/35 scale models, and the precise surface finish reproduces the realistic shape.
Following the series' Type 87 Self-Propelled Anti-Aircraft Gun, this model is packed with high-quality panel lines and non-slip surfaces.
The included decals feature meticulous research into the unit and vehicle number, and feature vehicles actually deployed.
●Intricately designed with a limited number of parts, featuring articulation and selectable parts.
The turret can rotate 360 degrees, and the barrel can be elevated up to 57 degrees. ~You can even recreate the side-firing pose, a characteristic of the actual vehicle~
The hull and turret are each made using slide molds, eliminating any omissions and integrating the parts for ease of assembly.
The barrel is molded in one piece, with the 155mm gun muzzle realistically removed.
All hatches can be opened and closed. The upper turret (right) hatch rotates along with the gun mount. ~The differences in the gun mount positions between the Northern Unit and the Special Forces Training Unit can be recreated.
The traveling clamp that secures the barrel during movement can be displayed in either a locked or unlocked state.
The tracks are made of plastic, consisting of four pieces on each side, without rubber pads. ~Designed for easy assembly and painting, with no omissions~
●Extensive sculpting.
The turret rotation lock mechanism on the bottom of the turret (right) and the top of the hull (left) is recreated with sculpted details.
The complex shape of the turret ring on the hull, consisting of chamfered slopes and vertical surfaces, is recreated in three dimensions.
The unevenness of the bottom rear of the turret is recreated.
The corners of the hull at the back of the upper tracks have ribs of different lengths and positions, which are recreated in full detail.
●1/72 scale scale, yet with 1/35 scale surface accuracy
The anti-slip surfaces on the hull and turret top are meticulously sculpted for realism.
The shape and position of the anti-slip surfaces are precisely replicated on the actual vehicle.
The mesh on the engine compartment is sculpted to a high-quality three-dimensional effect. ~A delicate appearance even without shading~
The bolts on each panel are aftermarket parts, accurately recreated in an extremely fine size that requires no replacement.
●Optional parts to suit your specifications
A muzzle velocity counter mounted on the barrel for more precise firing is provided as a separate part.
An anchor chain (with rubber hose) is provided to prevent the hatch from closing unexpectedly.
Optional storage boxes can be installed on the top/rear left side of the turret.
●Included decals/assembly instructions
The decals evenly represent vehicles deployed by each unit in Japan.
All vehicle numbers are real, and the instructions indicate their corresponding unit designations, so no research is required.
Included units include "Special Training-3," "Special Training-2," "Special Training-5," "Special Training-7," "Special Training-11," and "Military School."
●Includes parts for 3 or more soldiers (more than 3 can be created by selecting whether or not to include an ammunition belt).
The parts are divided into 4 pieces: head, right arm, left arm, and upper and lower torso. Poses can be created by combining them.
Includes poses such as sitting, standing, shooting, saluting, and flag-bearing. The ground version is primarily for shooting.
There are 3 head types, 2 parts of each, on each runner. Choose from a helmet and goggles, a helmet, or a Type-88 helmet. (Runner A)
The helmet is meticulously sculpted to resemble a headset.
The chest to lower torso parts come in seated and standing poses, with 6 types, 1 part of each, on each runner. (Runner B)
Includes variations such as with or without a belt and suspenders, a standing pose bending forward to aim the vehicle-mounted machine gun, and an upright position for saluting.
The right arm includes 19 poses, including a flagpole. (R Sprue)
Includes styles for gripping the hatch area or the onboard machine gun, as well as saluting, pointing, and the arm and flagpole of the inspecting flag bearer.
The wrinkles in the combat uniform and the sculpted fingers are meticulously detailed.
The left arm includes 13 poses. (L Sprue)
Includes styles for gripping the hatch area or the onboard machine gun, as well as a pose for the vehicle seated grip.
Molded in gray with clear transparent parts.
Part Count: 105 + 2 bonus parts = 107.
Finished Size: 170mm (including gun barrel) x 45mm x 46mm (up to closed hatch)
