This is a special Shinto altar that is not characterized by the common staggered roof type, but rather has three curved roofs.
The door fittings are made of brass, rather than the plastic fittings used in common Shinto altars, giving it a natural shine.
Special decorations have been applied to the front staircase, giving it a luxurious and heavy-duty construction.
The balustrades have also been given a special finish, using a special design known as a three-tiered kumikouran (combined balustrade). The back panel is also made of solid cypress boards.
Sacred talismans are placed in and taken out through the front door.
Large wooden talismans cannot be placed here.
