Pentatonix is a five-member a cappella group that jumped to the spotlight after winning Season 3 of NBC's a cappella audition program "The Sing Off." After that, their video of an a cappella medley of Daft Punk's hit song was viewed more than 60 million times on YouTube, and their name quickly became known in the web world. Their debut EP "PTX Vol. 1" reached number 14, and their subsequent EP "PTX Vol. 2" debuted at number 10 in the U.S. Despite being a newcomer, their debut album in Japan boasts unusual sales for an a cappella group.
