The ``Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind'' series of Takeya-style free-standing figurines, following the Torumekian armored soldiers and Toriuma, are soldiers who fight on the front lines of the ``Union of Earth Demon (Doruk) Principalities'', a powerful multi-ethnic nation whose power rivals the Torumekian Kingdom in the original comic.
They specialize in guerilla warfare such as night raids, and in the story, Kushana respects them as excellent warriors.
Its appearance, with its ethnic mask-like helmet and miasma mask, gives a sense of its unique culture and style. Takeya-style free-standing ornaments have designs that are a mix of indigenous styles and advanced processing techniques inherited from ancient civilizations, arranged by Takayuki Takeya after analyzing Hayao Miyazaki's original comics and color illustrations.
Yukio Fujioka was in charge of prototype production. The color scheme is muted, but bold red and blue are used to emphasize the ethnic feel. At first glance, it can be said that Mr. Takeya's sense of arrangement has a high affinity with the worldview of ``Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind,'' which makes it difficult to tell whether it is fictional or real.
Even though they are ordinary soldiers, they are figures of earth demon soldiers with a strong presence that conveys the fact that each one of them is a living human being.
