[Arne Jacobsen (Arne Jacobsen)] Arne Jacobsen is the most influential architect and designer of the 20th century born in Denmark, and is a person called the father of Danish design who created the prototype of today's modern Scandinavian design.
[Masterpiece of Scandinavian Design] ARNE JACOBSEN table clocks and alarm clocks have simple and elegant designs and are representative of Scandinavia. With a compact size of 11cm in diameter, it is an elegant item that matches any occasion, such as your bedside, desk, or living room. The Danish design, which is simple yet has a strong presence, is perfect as an accent to your interior.
[Minimalistic and beautiful design] Roman (1939/1942): A design created in 1939 when a table clock was produced. Later, in 1942, when Jacobsen designed the Aarhus City Hall in Aarhus, Denmark's second largest city located on the Jutland Peninsula, he removed the dots from the dial and redesigned it as a wall clock. It is a richly imaginative work that combines minimalism and modernism, while also reminiscent of symbolism.
[Wake up comfortably with a retro alarm sound] The retro alarm sound has a gentle tone that makes you feel nostalgic, helping you wake up in the morning. The warm alarm sound, which is different from digital sounds, provides a gentle start to the day.

The encounter between Classic Jacobsen and Roman numerals goes back a long time. In his childhood home, there was a very old wall clock from the 1700s with Roman numerals on it, which he observed with great interest. Several decades have passed since then. Studying the world around him was an important element in Jacobsen's creative process, and with pen and brush in hand, he explored the classical architecture, natural diversity, ancient furniture, and other objects he saw on his many travels to France and Italy. Several of Jacobsen's drawings and watercolors show an interest in Roman numeral clock faces, including an early drawing of a 17th-century clock in his home and a beautiful watercolor he painted in Capri's town square in 1937. Jacobsen channeled this diverse inspiration into his modern watch designs. This was Jacobsen's first watch design, ``ROMAN.'' ``ROMAN CLASSIC'', which was first released only in Japan, pays homage to the wall clock design of the 1700s that influenced Jacobsen. The classic beige color of the dial is a nod to the technique of the time.
It is inspired by the highly pure "white" color that is difficult to achieve through magic. As Jacobsen said, ``We don't make beautiful things, we make things that are needed.'' It has excellent visibility, and since there is no second hand, you can use it even in your bedroom without worrying about the sound of the hands.
