Fine Molds 1/35 Military Series Imperial Japanese Army Type 97 Te-Ke Plastic Model MR03
The Type 97 Te-Ke was developed for reconnaissance, reconnaissance, and liaison purposes as a successor to the Type 94 TK, a lightly-equipped light tank that contributed to the mechanization of the Japanese Army from the beginning of the Second Sino-Japanese War (China Incident).
The vehicle's compact and lightweight body is said to be among the best of its kind in the world, and two versions were produced: one with a 7.7mm machine gun and one with a 37mm tank gun.
This vehicle was primarily deployed to the Reconnaissance Regiment, a mobile reconnaissance unit reorganized from a cavalry regiment.
It was also deployed to many units, including tank regiments, for liaison purposes, and by the Marine Corps.
